PJH Learning + Performance

My Services.

Support for the learning and performance needs of individuals, teams, and organizations.

We start with what needs to change and what makes it difficult, then choose the support that fits.

How I work

I start by understanding your situation, goals, and constraints. Learning science, psychology, and education inform the work; your experience and feedback shape how we apply them.

We practice with real situations, learn with others where useful, and check what changes. The work continues between sessions and on the job.

I bring encouragement, humor, and honest feedback. I build on your strengths, support you through difficult steps, and challenge you to try more than you thought possible. I keep learning too.

Coaching areas

Work on your leadership, career, habits, or learning, with practice in sessions and support afterward. Organizations can sponsor coaching for their people.

Organizations I've worked with.

Roles at the IMF, Harvard Business School, and Wayfair shaped how I coach. The rest are organizations whose people I've coached or whose teams I've helped develop.

A few examples from my resources

These are sample activities, not client case studies or claims about results. The work itself would depend on the people and situation.

Coaching

Preparing to ask for feedback

The Feedback Worksheet moves from choosing someone to ask, to specific questions, listening, reflection, and a next step. It offers something concrete to prepare and revisit.

Consulting

Looking back at a project

The After-Action Review starts with the original objectives, then asks what happened, what helped, what was difficult, and what can be learned. It is one starting point for a closer conversation about the work.

Building a career story through practice

The Career Story Worksheet moves from reflection on milestones to writing a story, sharing it, and getting feedback. The sequence gives the learner more to do than read advice.

Training

Reflecting with a group

The After-Action Review includes participants and shared objectives. Its questions offer a structure for discussing a project together and choosing what to try differently next time.
